Dr. Bose,
You may be interested in the blog of JA Konrath wherein he details how he's making money selling books on Kindle. Konrath is a genre writer and it seems to be working well for him. At any rate, there are many ideas in his posts about the future direction of publishing that may interest you.
Thanks, Brad. I just had a look at Konrath's blog. Of course, he's doing very well as an e-author. But he's a genre writer. I don't think a literary writer cam make it that way. Besides, it's a lot of hard work, and I find myself lazy when it comes to marketing or self-promotion.
