Would you buy "A Poetics Of Fiction"?

It's of course a lucrative idea to write a book for aspiring writers who are swarming the physical and cyber spaces across the world and are ready to spend fortunes for their success. But here is a book with atrocious title "A Poetics of Fiction". 400 pages. Six chapters. Title of Chapter One :Open your savings account.

The author claims that he has taken fifteen years to write the book.
Big deal really!

Price? Not much. Just $225.

But who is this author?

Not a crackpot as you may think, but Tom Jenks, co-founder of Narrative Magazine which charges only $23 for reading every story you submit to the magazine.

I've not read the book and never will, but you can take my word for it: it's absolute shit and possibly the shittiest book for writers in 2015.

How do I know without reading that it's shit?

This is just evident from its title, price and author's profile.

Buy the book at your peril!
